aduPrivacy Policy

This page describes what we collect when you use adu and how we keep that data protected. When you create an account on adu, provide KYC verification, or deposit via DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or bank virtual accounts, we collect personal information. We encrypt all data, restrict access to our compliance and support teams, and retain documents only as long as required by law.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except when legally obligated by law enforcement or regulatory investigation. Our servers are located in secure data centres and managed by vetted infrastructure providers. We undertake annual third-party security audits to maintain industry-standard protections.

This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, your rights, and how to contact us about your information.

What We Collect on adu

We collect different types of information depending on how you interact with adu. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. When you complete KYC verification, we collect a copy of your government ID (national ID card, passport, or driving licence) and proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, or residence certificate). We also collect your full name as it appears on your ID and your date of birth.

When you deposit or withdraw, we collect transaction records: the date, amount, payment method (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or bank virtual account), and the destination or source account number. For bank transfers via mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or e-wallet virtual accounts, we also collect your bank account name to verify it matches your adu KYC name.

When you use adu, we collect usage logs: the pages you visit, the games you access, stakes placed, and the time of activity. We do not collect credit card numbers or full bank account details—we collect only the last four digits for verification purposes.

We also collect your IP address, device type, and browser information to detect suspicious activity and prevent fraud.

Cookies: We use cookies to remember your login session and language preferences. These cookies do not track you across other websites. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may limit adu functionality.

How We Use Your Data on adu

We use your information for three main purposes: account management, regulatory compliance, and fraud prevention.

  • Account management: We use your email to send account notifications (login alerts, deposit confirmations, withdrawal status). We use your name and address to verify your KYC documents and ensure your payment methods match your verified identity.
  • Regulatory compliance: We are required by anti-money-laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist-financing (CTF) regulations to collect and retain KYC data. We use this data to verify your identity and monitor for suspicious transactions. We retain KYC documents for the duration of your account and for seven years afterward per regulatory requirements.
  • Fraud prevention: We use your transaction history, IP address, and device information to detect unauthorized access, unusual withdrawal patterns, or signs of money laundering. If we flag unusual activity, we may request re-verification or temporarily restrict your account pending investigation.

We do not use your data for marketing purposes. We do not send promotional emails or sell your email address to third parties.

Our adu Third-Party Processors

We partner with third-party service providers to operate adu. These include payment processors (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, and bank networks online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment), cloud infrastructure providers, and email delivery services. When you use adu, your data may be shared with these processors only to the extent needed to process your transaction or deliver our service.

Payment processors may retain transaction metadata (amount, date, account number) according to their own retention policies.

Our servers may sit outside your jurisdiction. By using adu, you consent to your data being processed and stored in locations outside Indonesia if required by our infrastructure providers. We maintain the same security standards regardless of server location.
